Oerview:

Automatic Invoice Processing - IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV is I.R.I.S.’ solution for the scanning, archiving and processing of paper and electronic invoices. But IRISCapture™ Pro for Invoices does not only dematerialize your invoices: its powerful OCR engine gives you the possibility to create fully indexed document for an easy retrieval. This solution extracts indexing information from single or multi-page invoices, coming from different suppliers and countries, in different languages. IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV processes color and/or black&white invoices, and is fully “dual stream” compliant

No template design - With IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, there is no need for a definition stage: neither design, nor training of the OCR engine. Just scan or import your invoices, and IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV identifies the supplier and key information like dates (invoice date and due date, for example), amounts (net amount, tax amount, total amount to pay, etc.) and other useful information. With Frequent Suppliers, fields tips can be given to the software via the Recognition Assistant.

XML/CSV export and Invoice Viewer - IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV automatically recognizes, validates and transfers the captured data of your invoices according to the MS Dynamics NAV business rules. Authorized users can also validate and correct or complete the data when and if necessary directly from within Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The exported data will be stored in a separate functional entity in MS Dynamics NAV allowing to segregate and secure the invoices domain from the OCR process. During the entire A/P process, it is possible to display and consult the image of the invoice simply by launching the viewer of IRISCapture™ Pro, where the hierarchical structure of the documents can be seen directly.

Drag-and-drop OCR - For some invoices with non-conventional design, or coming from countries with specific invoicing rules, IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV offers a unique and user-friendly tool to help the indexing: the “drag-and-drop OCR”. With just a mouse click, the “drag-and-drop OCR” reads any text on the invoice, avoiding to key in the data manually.

Easy Steps for the Operator:

1. Scan or import your invoices - IRISCapture™ Pro for Microsoft Dynamics NAV supports the scanning of single or multi-pages invoices, for instance from KODAK Capture Software, as well as the import of electronic invoices even in signed PDF format. A watched folder can also be defined for automated processing.

2. Archive your invoices - The images of your invoices will be automatically saved into an electronic archive under a unique reference number.

3. Encode your data - The intelligent recognition engine will identify the supplier and encode automatically all the data you need (Amounts, invoice number, VAT number, etc.).

4. Validate - Within Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the approval screen enables the accountant to check and correct data if necessary. Additional data can be directly inputted using drag-and-drop OCR.

5. View - The image of your invoices can always be viewed directly within MS Dynamics NAV simply by launching the viewer of IRISCapture™ Pro.
