The Trūper 3600 is a rotary only scanner.  Don’t be fooled by its compact size.  With a 10,000 page daily duty cycle and 67 page per minute speed (62 ppm in portrait), it leads the industry in the low volume segment.  As for image enhancement, Trūper 3600 is bundled with two different versions of VRS to meet your scanning needs:  VRS 4.1 Professional for auto-everything scanning, including Auto Rotation, Blank Page Deletion and Auto Color Detect. In addition, Trūper 3600 is offered with VRS 4.1 Basic for those instances where auto-everything is not needed.

Trūper provides both high quality image enhancement and increased productivity through VRS 4.1. Trūper is the only scanner in its segment that bundles VRS 4.1 image enhancement technology as a standard scanner feature.

For installations that require auto everything, Trūper with VRS 4.1 Professional offers additional features that improve scanning efficiency. These features dramatically reduce document preparation and ongoing file storage requirements.

The advanced functionality that VRS 4.1 Professional provides includes:

• Auto Rotation:  Documents can be scanned in any orientation, reducing preparation requirements. The Auto-Rotation feature electronically rotates the image so that it can be read right side up by the scanner operator.
• Auto Color Detect:  Scanning color for color, bitonal for black and white. With Auto Color Detect, Trūper eliminates the pre-sorting of batched documents and the inserting of patch codes and separator sheets previously needed to capture color content.
• Blank Page Deletion:  Eliminates blank pages when scanned in duplex. This feature reduces files size and storage requirements by detecting and deleting blank pages within a scanned image. In addition, it also reduces document preparation, as you can put both simplex and duplex documents in the same batch.
