Question
: What is the life of a scanner lamp on a Panasonic KV-S3065C. I am getting a message about the front and rear lamps. Can they be replaced easily?
Answer : There is not a rating specifically on the life of the lamps for this scanner. Panasonic only gives information on the mean time between failures (MTBF) for all the electronics. The MTBF for the KV-S3065C is 18,000 hours, but they also say that the lamps usually last for the life of the scanner. This means that all the electronics should last the life of the scanner, but depending on the scanner one of the items in the electronics category will fail every 18,000 hours.
The lamps on this scanner are classified as non-user replaceable items. I would rate the difficulty of replacement for a standard user as a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
