Question :
How do I convert a scanned image to an MS Word document or PDF file so that I can edit it?

Answer :
The process of converting a scanned image to editable formats like MS Word, Excel, and PDF is called OCR (Optical Character Recognition). We have several applications available that perform OCR here. They range in price from free to $10,000, but a good desktop application costs around $400. The difference in price is determined by the accuracy and speed of the OCR engine, as well as the additional functions that the software can perform.
