Fujitsu scanner maintenance and service

A Fujitsu (now Ricoh) scanner stays reliable with two things: consumables replaced on schedule, and a service plan so a failure does not stop your work. We supply both.

Routine maintenance

  • Consumables. Pick rollers, brake rollers and pads wear with every page and are rated for a set page count. Replacing them on schedule prevents most misfeeds and double feeds. See Fujitsu consumables kits.
  • Cleaning. Paper dust on the glass and rollers causes streaks and feed problems. A Fujitsu cleaning kit with the recommended cleaner and wipes takes minutes a week. Fujitsu's ScanAid kits bundle the cleaning supplies, and for many models the consumables too, in one box.
  • Scanner counters. The scanner's own software tracks pages since the last consumable change, so you know when parts are due.

Service plans

Our Fujitsu service contracts include advance exchange, next business day: if the scanner fails, a replacement unit is shipped before you send yours back, so you are scanning again the next day. Plans are sold per model and can extend coverage beyond the factory warranty.

Many feed and image problems are fixed by cleaning and new consumables. For anything else, tell us the model and what is happening, and we will help you find the part, the plan, or a replacement. We also carry the full range of Fujitsu scanner parts.
